I think most everyone who goes through this situation will deal with a partner's narcissism. Whether they have full-on NPD or just narcissistic traits, you will have to research and cope with your divine other's worst behavior if you want to be with them or find your own inner happiness. If you're currently separated (like I am from my twin), you probably do not want to speak to them or see what they are doing. Good. Your partner still has too much baggage to give you any lasting long-term happiness. But the key is to not hate them or write them off forever. Give them time and accept that it may take longer than you envision or prefer. You must move on your respective solo journey if you ever want to get closer to union.
Remember that your twin doesn't just reflect your own problems (as an opposite, not a duplicate) but they also heal your wounds and cure karmic debts; emotional, psychological & physical health problems.
Your masculine twin was fated to develop this unlikable personality so you can be the lovable one who teaches them how to love. Also, if they have personality disorders, its likely that they are teaching you to forgive or understand someone in your past with the same problems. If your twin is a narcissist, maybe your mother or father is one too. Maybe you were once so you can help this masculine.
While you are understanding how and why your twin is so emotionally abusive, distant, dishonest, dismissive, manipulative, childish, impulsive, fearful, easily depressed, etc. its better for your own sanity and well-being to get them out of your life. The Runner-Chaser phase can be devastating but also a blessing. If your twin blocks you or drives you away with bad behavior, you will learn how to protect yourself and not fall for their games. This will teach you how to be more successful in life and not bullied or abused like in your past.
Its good to study how the Borderline personality functions as its a milder form of NPD.
A real narcissist has a false persona they show the world and no knowledge of their true repressed self. They will violently defend the image they project to the world, even if it means lying or criminality, because it will shatter their worldview or psyche to accept they are lying to themselves.
BPD, on the other hand, has the same split between False and True Self (Super Ego and Shadow) but they have some awareness of their true self. They are simply afraid of exposing it because they were punished or neglected for being honest as a child. They've always wanted to release this side of themselves but gave up or expected someone else to release it for them. This someone else is really you, but the Masculine chose the Karmic for false EGO reasons.
The Feminine represents death of idealistic illusions for the Masculine, which is harder than the removal of negative illusions that the Feminine finds during spiritual recognition with your other self.
The Masculine will run or chase you away whenever you wake them up too fast or make them feel strong emotions they've never felt. Thats why its best to avoid them and let them grow up. The Masculine is a scared child protected by a created bully persona. They must fight an internal battle where the true self claims ownership of the mind. The M will do this Shadow work when you do yours. It takes longer for the M because they have issues with shame, guilt, reflection and taking ownership.
A person with BPD will escape into work, obsessive behaviors, shopping, sex, video game addiction or substance abuse anytime they "split" or the False self takes over. They will even repress memories that cause shame and act like they never hurt you. This comes off like a narcissist but its more like a 2nd personality that replaces the 1st. This persona is shut down emotionally and will hurt you. They crave solitude and anyone who believe the lies they've created. But simply knowing you will cause them to change slowly as long as you don't trigger them with declarations of love or falling for their manipulation. Even if they ask you for sex or flirting or secret contact, deny them. They must learn right from wrong; which they never learned as children.
As long as their dominant personality is the False Self, they will only use and abuse you. DO NOT reveal your secrets or desires to them as they will use them as ammo to manipulate you for easy narcissistic supply. All they crave is attention from their "Favorite Person" (a clinical term). This cancerous side of them does not want commitment or honest communication with you. They want to know they control you and can hurt you. The good in them wants to be with you and will occasionally be honest in declaring love but if they are too afraid to say it to the world publicly, just run. As soon as they meet you, the False self starts dying, which is why they lose their minds and attack you. Engaging with them and this False self will only pause or even set your journey backwards. Trust me!
They will stalk your social media. Block them! Don't let them know what you are doing, how you feel today or what you want from them. As soon as they know what you desire, they decide to not give it to you. As soon as they know whats unimportant to you, they will value it. Because the Masculine's mind is split; at war with itself and trapped in dualism. They duel with you, with their karmic, with their family, with their brain, even between the left and right lobes of their brain & worse between angels & demons in their auric field. When they choose on their own to become balanced, they will choose union with reality. Until then, let them "enjoy" being fake.
If you give them positivity, they will return negativity. Remove yourself from their life and become (reasonably) more selfish, then they will tune themselves to the positive. The Masculine's bad behavior can definitely make you more narcissistic, unforgiving and selfish and thats their gift to you. This is the hardest lesson of your journey: You will not love them the same as when you first met them. They will become better but you will see all the ugliness in them. But only when you know the true self, the worst and best selves of your partner, can you truly love them or anyone (including you!).
The Masculine rejects (-) anyone who loves (+) them. The Masculine feels rejection (-) from anyone they love (-). The Karmic doesn't show them true love and that is comfortable and normal to your Masculine's wounded ego. It reminds them of an abusive or neglectful parent who sometimes loved them and sometimes didn't or two parents who were on different pages. Your masculine must learn this is not how people treat each other. Would you want to raise kids with a Masculine who abuses who they love? If they have children with the Karmic, you dodged a bullet!
These are sad and tough truths but they will put your mind at ease so you can accept how reality flows. All that matters is your following a Godly path. Your twin takes a different route to get to the same source - God. And God is love. If you are getting better, you will find each other eventually. Don't rush or fall behind. Let God & his angelic spirits do the heavy lifting. All we must do in the physical world is avoid bad spiritual choices.
All you need is love. What you don't need is abusive "love" or loving someone who takes and doesn't give back. LOVE YOU. LOVE LOVE. MAKE LOVE YOUR #1 PRIORITY. Embrace nature. Embrace children. Embrace community. Embrace health & fitness. Embrace education. Embrace your soul by expressing it 24/7/ Live life the best you can, for the best you & ONLY for you.

Soul Twins!
You can find a lot of info about Twin Flames. Its a catalyst for two people to embark on their spiritual awakening and clearing of current & past life karma. Why? To expererience the ultimate love of Self, your Soul Twin and the God that made you both. You will find your divine partner, the being that you share eternity with spiritually. But when you find each other, you won't be ready to be together until you balance your energies together. Its a solo journey for both; the feminine (Yin) must balance the couple's soul vibration and the masculine (Yang) must balance the couple's physical vibration, typically by leaving or finishing a "karmic" situation. The karmic situation is any debt the masculine has with soul mates, romantic or familial.
On my own journey I have gained insights I would like to share with any feminines or even masculines who need assistance.
You must learn to enjoy the separation because its a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual journey that will heal you from all your past life trauma. You must love your beloved's karmic partners because they are moving your ultimate lover towards you.
There are a few popular methods to expedite your journey to "union". MEDITATION. Search inside your own psyche and memories to find why you drove away your partner. When you find your wounds you must then put in action to change. Opening your chakras through kundalini yoga exercise will balance the soul energy in your body. There's also the Mirror Exercise developed for Twin Flames that really helps:
There's also the Violet Flame meditation which balances the masculine and feminine sides of your individual soul by bridging the blue and red halves of your astral energy into a purple median. Open your 3rd eye.
Opening your 3rd eye & balancing the polarity inside is key. You must keep the knowledge that you, living in this 3d plane of existence, you are a 3-part human being made of mind, body and soul energy. The masculine in you and especially your masculine partner sees the Self only through duality. Why?
You are mind, body & soul. Mind exists on the 1d, body on the 3d and soul on the 5d. When your conscience is unconscious of the 5d, you are stuck between mind and body: the 2d. Actually, your 1d sense of self is stuck thinking in the binary: 0-1, yes-no, left-right, black-white, male-female, good-bad. But life is more complex and has a spectrum between these absolutes. If you are a feminine male with a masculine female twin, you will learn this intimately. This is called Animus & Anima: the male in the female and the female in the male.
Let the 5d spiritual self into the 3d self to lose your 1d perceptions. The 3d is simply a door for the 1d conscience to enter 5d experience. This is the purpose of life & death. The 3 selves travel the 5 dimensions. Sperm transport us from 1d to 3d and the deceased spirit from 3d to 5d.
This 3d world is a holographic projection. Its not a dream in your own mind, like the idealist religions and philosophies teach. It is "dreamed" by God, which is the totality of energetic consciousness. Everything is made of God. In that way, like the Lauryn Hill song, "everything is everything". Your toothbrush is related to Amelia Earhart. Your dog is made of the same substance as Jesus Christ, the moon, a tree, etc. But more prescient, you and your twin are made of the same spark of creative God energy. God created all souls with two minds, two bodies and two parts of the soul. You share your soul with your twin. They are your Divine other. Accepting that your twin is you will make balancing much easier.
The Tao teaches that all of the universe is made of Yin or Yang. You are the Yin to your other's Yang. Not just your soul twin, but to any "other" to your Self. Along with Taoism and Buddhism, the psychological teachings of Carl Jung and Jacques Lacan explore the relation of Self to The Other. This will help you better relate to your twin, to other beings, to the world and most importantly to God. When you find, experience and love God, you are doing your life purpose and attracting your twin into harmony. There is no harmony without God in your conscious mind & actions on Earth.
While you grow consciously into your soul, the masculine grows unconsciously but equally. Yin & Yang. It will take them longer to know why they know these things but they will eventually accept reality by outgrowing their karmic situation and leaving it to be in harmonious union with the one who taught them - You.
Your nasty break up affects both of you profoundly, forcing you separately to question your lives, see your worst traits, better yourselves and do what you could never do before - Love. You were not ready when you met, so don't be angry at each other or regret not being in union earlier. This is divine timing with an orchestrated purpose, set by God through his angels and ascended souls we call "guides".
Your shared soul belongs to a "Soul Family" that is guided by angels. All twin flame couples that ascend together are connected in a soul family. Each generation has its own twins of various ages & orientations. Its believed that each group is bigger and ascends faster than the previous generations. Its my opinion that the angels above us live in the 6th dimension and God (or demigods & deities) in the 7th. As you descend the dimensions, you lose parts of "Self".

In the 5d, you and your twin are 5-part beings. The 5th parts is your connection to God. You have two halves & your twin has two halves, which come from the 4d. At 3d, you both have 3 parts (mind, body, soul) as you lose your 4th astral body. In 2d, you both have mirroring positive and negatives halves of the mind. And at 1d, you are just mirroring codes of 0s & 1s. This is called DNA. You mirror each other because you both come from the same star dust material and, like magnets, will always rejoin.
There are many New Age-y legends about twin flames like we come from Atlantis or Venus or we have a special job in the Luciferian "New World Order" or Age of Aquarius. I'm skeptical of all that doesn't directly come from "Source" (God) to your astral consciousness, personally. Only when we turn off our mind will we connect to the energy within everything and receive profound answers to unknown questions.
Turning off the mind is crucial: Mindfulness, living in the present, "the power of Now". When you stop fearing the future and replaying the past, you will cherish every moment and be present for everything your life is giving you. The universe is here to serve us. Reality will give you signs and missions everyday to help yourself and God's family. Turn your mind off to experience the spiritual self (the 5d). Don't think (yang). Know (yin).
When we divide our mind into 3 or 2, we live in a mode of Separation. Do you now understand why you are not with your twin? You must shift every dimension of your being into Union consciousness.
But... when you finally do come into union, the hard work begins. You have cleared your individual light bodies to be together physically without overwhelming each other mentally, sexually, emotionally. But you still must balance past life issues. You two have been split since The Big Bang created the universe. You knew each other before, when all souls existed within God. But God expanded the dimensions to expand our souls. When you come together it will be a powerful homecoming, but you have spent 100s of lives apart. Like the story of God kicking Lucifer from Heaven, there is a snake dividing the Masculine & Feminine from paradise. But we must return to Eden.
The same way there is yin and yang to the wholeness of the Tao, there is a dialectic to Separation and Union, individually. You have unbalanced separation and balanced separation. Then, you have unbalanced union and balanced union. You will enter union quicker when you stop idealizing it as a reward or finish line and know that separation is actually PREPARATION.
Before you met and into the early period after meeting, you both were unbalanced. The feminine chased the masculine and the masculine rejected the feminine. Until you finally become self-aware and recognized the yin in the yang and the yang in the yin. This will play out in reverse within Union. The roles must switch.
When two twins are balanced separately, they are ready for union. The union will favor the yin and yang, conflicting with past & future worries, before it stabilizes and you begin your happy ever after in the Tao... in the Now. The masculine and feminine will behave in their conditioned patterns within a relationship until they learn everything about the other Self. The masculine may resent the feminine or vice versa, because of the mutal pain that was caused while breaking the karmic cycle. The masculine manipulated and degraded the feminine. The masculine then gave up so much for the feminine. Only by being together and experiencing love firsthand can they see what this pain was for. That this love is worth the suffering. That life is worth dying for. The masculine will grow to cherish the feminine way more than the lost karmic partners, even thanking the feminine for driving them away. And the feminine will grow to be assertive, even bored or unchallenged by the masculine. The energies will become balanced. No more black and white. Only gray. This is true love. They belong together, not by choice but by design. No more conflict. Only peace & total understanding. Perfect 50/50 alignment. Two eyes of the same soul's brain.
When union starts, the masculine was mean and egotistical, not as in love as the feminine. They may cheat or return to karmic situations if the feminine stays in old "chaser" doormat patterns. When you begin balancing, the masculine will worship and smother the feminine, begging them to stay. The feminine might begin cheating or choose to live without the masculine. But TRUE UNION will create mutual respect, mutual affection and mutual understanding, but it takes work: honesty, commitment & pursuit of a Godly life together.
Only together can you heal and become whole. This is why romantic love is a token of God's love. God is your matchmaker! To reject your twin is to reject God and yourself.
At the end of the day, both twins must learn to love, not just the self, but the Authentic Self by doing "shadow work". Individuation of The Shadow is a Jungian concept: the Shadow is a negative reflection (yin) of our invented Ideal Self persona (yang); through "Ego Death" we kill the Ideal self (Super Ego) and embrace our Shadow (The Id) self to know, love & release our Authentic self into our consciousness (creating a "New" Ego). This is how we leave the duelist's thinking.
This should bring both of you into alignment with the great spiritual teachers like Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha and Lao Tzu. Practice a life of Wu Wei, or "not forcing". Live a life of little materialism and practice Amor Fati, the neutral acceptance of all outcomes, positive or negative. Embrace the yin in yang and the yang and yin and stop pitting opposites against the other. The unenlightened who live in the world of materialism and dualism will eventually find pluralistic monism and secular humanism. Until then, you and your twin are a light in the darkness and must love your responsibility because you both chose this union. We are all created as twin flames but we must choose before birth to unite in a lifetime because it is very hard. Weaker souls choose to live unconscious lives of selfishness and short term gratification. But all return to God in due time. Twin flames were born to lead the world to Heaven on Earth. Each personalized journey reflects the true nature of our shared reality. We all are one and in this soul family together. I love you.
